Located in the remote Mudan Township of Pingtung, the Dongyuan Indigenous Cultural Health 

Station is the most distant of its kind in the area. Legislator Wu Li-Hua, who represents 

the mountain indigenous peoples, received a petition from the station requesting 

a transportation vehicle to help address the difficulties faced by elders and residents in 

traveling to and from the facility.

Thanks to Legislator Wu’s dedicated advocacy, Mr. Wen-Hsiang Lai, Chairman of Century Wind 

Power, learned about the need and generously donated a pink SUV to serve as the exclusive 

transportation vehicle for the Dongyuan Health Station. The donation enables local elders and 

indigenous residents to travel safely and comfortably, ensuring continued access to care and 

companionship.
