Quality Policy


“Technology First, Service Enthusiasm, Self-transcendence, and Quality-oriented” is the business
philosophy adopted by Century Wind Power, and the Company is committed to provide
underwater foundation products of excellent quality with quality certification, and aims to
become a benchmark enterprise of offshore wind power manufacturer in Taiwan. Through
continuous improvement and correction of the quality goal annually and dedication in satisfying
customer demands, the Company has achieved continuous improvement in the plant and in
welding technology.

ISO Certification


With regard to the welding technology, CWP complies with ISO 3834, EN 1090-1 and
EN 1090-2 to ensure that technology quality management complies with international
standards. As for the corporate operation, CWP implements the core value of PDCA circular
management of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and periodically reviews the
implementation status of the quality goal of each department. In addition, it adopts regular
patrol inspection, protects on-site operating environments and the occupational safety of field
technicians, implements periodic patrol inspection and has also established four main labor
safety plans. Create a safe and favorable operating environment starting from the operating
environment and the physical and mental status of operators.


Since 2019, Century Wind Power entrusts a third party authentication institution to audit each
ISO related system annually. In 2023, CWP introduced ISO 14064-1 GHG inventory and ISO 27001
information security management systems to duly formulate the mid- and long-term carbon
reduction strategies of the Company in the future, improve the energy management of plants,
establish the security system for internal information exchange, and protect the privacy and
security of information on customers and employees. The third-party verification for both ISO
systems will be obtained in 2024.


In the future, CWP will continue to expand and plan for comprehensive environmental
protection and information security to realize the Company’s commitment to sustainability.


Welding Technology


High-quality welding technology is a crucial process for the offshore wind power industry.
From the overall project management to welding techniques learning and inheritance of
welding techniques to weld bead and coating quality inspection, Century Wind Power has
established comprehensive processes to improve the product and service quality continuously.


For project control, CWP inherited from Bladt Industries, the Danish company that possesses
the most extensive offshore wind power development experience and used their cumulative
professional skills and project management to improve procedures and improve welding
technologies and the quality control system to connect to the international standards.
Meanwhile, it established in-depth cooperative relationships with domestic manufacturers
and overseas wind farm developers.


For welding technologies, CWP has established a welding school to actively provide training
for local and foreign welders as well as other advanced technicians. In addition, according to
the project needs, welding technique examinations are also arranged in order to ensure the
reliability of welders’ techniques. CWP will continue to improve its welding technology and
service quality. Apart from satisfying the stringent natural environment and the technical
requirements necessary for large-scale underwater foundations, such acts are to lay a solid
foundation for the successful export sales of products to neighboring countries in the future.


Each welding bead of the product undergoes a rigorous non-destructive testing procedure,
and the personnel performing non-destructive testing are required to receive training in
order to improve the self-inspection capability of the Company. CWP appointed personnel
to participate in international nondestructive testing for a total of five sessions in 2023;
the cumulative training hours were 475 hours, with a total of 10 participants; the certificate
acquisition rate was 70%. In addition, a third party inspector is also stationed at the plant site
in order to control the product quality rigorously.
