Talent Recruitment and Retention
In-service Employees
As of the end of 2023, the total number of employees reached 970 persons. Due to the increase
in the contracted project and the specialty of the industry, employees are mostly from overseas
regions, in which Indonesians accounted for the most, followed by Thai.
Since Century Wind Power is in the large steel part manufacturing industry, based on the industrial
characteristics, the gender ratio of employees has inherent gaps; therefore, for human resource
recruitment, CWP actively moves toward the workplace culture of diversification, inclusiveness,
and gender equality in recent years.
New and Resigned Employees
In 2023, the total number of new employees was 588 people, and most of them were at the age
of 18-29 years old. The ratio of new employees of foreign nationalities was nearly 70%
respectively. The total number of resigned employees was 213 people, and most of them were
entry-level employees. The resignation rate was 21.95%, and the major reasons were seeking
breakthroughs(37%), family factors (23%), transportation/location factors (16%),
individual career planning (16%), and work pressure (8%).
Salary and Benefits
Through the performance evaluation conducted twice annually and the review of employee
salary standards according to the operation status and remuneration system of the Company,
performance-based salary adjustment and fair opportunities for talent recruitment are
implemented. In 2023, the ratio of full-time personnel who received annual performance
evaluations was 100%. In addition, the Company also complies with the rules for additional pay
for license qualification, such that after employees qualify for licenses related to their job duties,
and after the evaluation of corresponding competence and assessment, professional license
allowance is provided to employees, in order to encourage employees to continuously improve
professional skills and to recruit professional talents.
With regard to the salary ratio of male and female employees, since CWP is in the steel
manufacturing and processing industry, due to the industry characteristics, there are certain
existing differences in the gender and job content of employees. For field job positions,
most of the electric welding operators are male employees, and administrative staff are mostly
female employees, such that there are differences in the job allowance and performance bonus
ratios. For the gender and salary ratio adjustment, CWP still aims to head toward substantial
workplace gender equality.
