Occupational Hazard

Incident Investigation

CWP has established its “Procedures for Accident Reporting, Handling, and Investigation” for
accidents or occupational disasters. According to the occupational disaster statistics of all
employees and contractors in 2023, there was no case of death that occurred at CWP;
however, there were 0 cases of minor injuries, 102 cases of seeking medical advice, 1 case of
disabilities and 0 near-miss incidents. The Company had made accident investigations with
the occurring department or personnel involved and completed examinations and
improvements regarding the abovementioned accidents. CWP will continue to improve
the occupational safety education and training. Apart from enhancing training for the occurring
unit or cooperating personnel, it will examine similar hazard points and improve occupational
promotion from the top down through sharing internal and external cases at weekly meetings
or regular environmental safety and health meetings so as to improve the safety awareness of
personnel. In addition, increasing the frequency of management by walking around (MBWA)
by occupational safety personnel and encouraging the reporting of false alarms can also
effectively reduce the risk of occupational disasters.

Furthermore, during the reporting period and the toolbox meeting, CWP informs
the employees and third-party suppliers that they and third-party suppliers must stop work
and evacuate to a safe place if they find there is a possibility of immediate danger while
performing their duties according to Article 18 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act,
with the basic rights of work punishment exempted.
