Occupational Health and Safety Education and Training


To allow on-the-job employees to have proper hazard safety awareness as well as response
measures during the execution of operations and to allow employees to obtain licenses
necessary for job duties, Century Wind Power organizes and arranges Occupational Health
and Safety education and training seminars or courses annually according to the government
laws and regulations, including occupational safety course, disaster prevention drill and aerial
operation, confined space operation, Occupational Health and Safety management specialist or
supervisor training or re-trainings, etc. In addition, CWP also assists subsidiaries and cooperating
contractors stationed at the plant site to organize courses, in order to strengthen the overall
occupational safety and emergency refugee awareness of the plant site. In 2023, a total of 49
sessions of Occupational Health and Safety education and training drills and courses were
organized. The total number of trainees was 1514 people and the total number of accumulated
training hours of personnel was 2168 hours.

Occupational Health and Safety Committee


Century Wind Power has established its Occupational Health and Safety Committee
(the “Safety Committee”), which is comprised of a total of 13 members, including representatives
of the labor and management, according to the Regulations for Occupational Health and Safety
Management. The Safety Committee convenes meetings once every three months; apart from
presenting the execution circumstances and performances of environmental safety and health
each quarter, both the labor and the management jointly guide the communication, coordination,
and promotion of the safety, health, and environmental issues or decision-making to ensure
the exclusion of concerns regarding labor, machines, supplies, laws, and environments, and the
establishment of safety culture. In addition, employees may express complaints or
recommendations related to environmental safety and health regarding their duties via the
Safety Committee or the on-site environmental safety and health observation cards.

Working Environment Monitoring


According to the requirements under the “Occupational Safety and Health Act” and the
“Regulations for Monitoring Labor Operating Environments,” Century Wind Power engages
qualified operating environment monitoring institutions to periodically implement monitoring
of labor operating environments and determine whether the testing results comply with legal
requirements; the Company immediately makes engineering improvements and corrections
for any abnormality. In 2023, the Company's operating environment monitoring was performed
semiannually in accordance with requirements, and the items cover chemical factors and
physical factors; the former includes dust, chemical substance, and CO2 monitoring, and the
latter includes noise, illuminance, and
high-temperature monitoring items.
