Monopile

The size of Monopile underwater foundation is about 6-10m in diameter, 65m-100m in length, and 800t-2000t in weight.

The wind turbine tower is connected with the single-pile underwater structure by flanges or grouting joints, and transmits the load borne by the wind turbine system to the seabed foundation on which it is carried.

The main system is used for the seabed of gravel, sand, or clay, but it needs to have a solid ground below. The seabed geology is mainly high-density gravel, rock formations and clay layers. This type of foundation is mostly used in water depth Waters less than 20 meters. The construction cost of single pile foundation increases with the increase of water depth, but the disadvantage is that the pile driving noise is loud.
